¾ c. evaporated milk
2¼ c. sugar
2 pkg. (30 oz.) chocolate bits
⅓ c. white Karo© syrup
2 tbsp. butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c., chopped nuts.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
Turn heat low, cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, immediately add chocolate bits, Karo©, butter and vanilla. Stir until chocolate melts and fudge is smooth and creamy.
Stir in nuts and mix well.
Pour into a buttered 8X8X2 inch pan and chill in refrigerator until firm (1-2 hours).
Cut into squares.
