1 dozen eggs
1 quart whole milk ( 4 cups)
1/4 cup sugar
pinch salt

Cheesecloth for hanging

Lightly beat eggs and milk in saucepan. Add sugar & salt. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to separate. Pour into a sheet of cheesecloth laid over a large bowl. Tie with string & hang, leaving a bowl underneath until dripping stops (2 hours)

This recipe was written on an index card and I noted "Helen Neff 1977". She was from Czechoslovakia just like my mom. She always made this for Easter and served it with ham. It's absolutely delightful!
