Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
3/4c sugar
1/4lb butter
1/4t vanilla
1/4t salt
1/4c light white corn syrup
2 eggs
4oz unsweetened chocolate melted and cooled slightly
3/8c milk
1 3/4c flour
1 1/3t baking pwd
1/4c pecan pieces

Chocolate Icing
2oz unsweetened chocolate
3T butter
1/4c milk
1/2c pwd sugar
dash vanilla and salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cookies
Cream the sugar, butter, vanilla, salt and syrup, add slowly the eggs and chocolate, add milk. Stir in flour and baking powder. Add pecans if desired. Bake at 325F about 10 minutes. When cool frost with chocolate icing. Yields 2 dozen large cookies

Chocolate Icing

Melt chocolate and butter stir in milk. Pour mixture over powdered sugar add dash of vanilla and salt. Mix and icing cookies
