3 eggs
3c. white sugar
1c. buttermilk
1c. wesson oil
2c. flour
1tsp. salt
1tsp. cinamon
1tst nutmeg
1tsp. allspice
1tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1c. nuts chopped - Black Walnuts
1c. prunes or (2 large baby food)

Icing
1/2c. buttermilk
1c. brown sugar
3/4 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Use mixer to mix eggs, buttermilk and vegetable oil together.
Add sugar and mix.
Sift flour, salt, spices and soda together.
Add egg mixture and mix well.
Stir in prunes, nuts and vanilla.
Pour into well greased pan (oblong 13" pan)
Bake in oven at 300 to 325 until sides begin to leave pan and it springs back when touched
in center (30 minutes)
As soon as cake is in oven put this sauce on to cook.
Cook sauce until it forms a soft ball in water.
When cake is done, pour sauce over cake at once.
