1 16-ounce carton cottage cheese
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
grated rind of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup heavy cream
pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
nutmeg
1 9-inch deep dish pie shell

Preheat oven to 350º

Mix all & pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg & bake for 45 - 60 minutes.

Mrs. Neff always made this for Easter. She didn't use a recipe so I had to find one. She made a heavier, yeast sort of dough in a jelly roll pan. I've chosen to make it easier & use a frozen pie crust. It's a family favorite!
