preheat oven to 350 degrees.
spray 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.

1 box macaroni pasta
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
2 C milk
3 T flour
3 T butter or margarine
1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1) Bring a pot of water to a boil and add pasta. Add a dash of salt and a splash of oil to prevent water from boiling over.

2) Cook pasta until done and then drain.
3) In another large pot melt butter.
4) When butter is melted, add flour and stir until mixture is slightly browned. (1-2 minutes)
5) Add milk, salt & pepper to mixture and whisk to remove any lumps.
6) Stir in cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.
7) Add drained pasta to sauce and stir until combined.
8) Pour macaroni and cheese into baking dish and back until brown & bubbly. (about 45 min)


Note: can add bread crumb topping and/or 3/4 cubed ham.
