14 oz (50) caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the caramels and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk, stirring until melted then set aside.

Combine the cake mix, margarine and rest of the evaporated milk.
Stir until it holds together.
Press half of this mixture into a greased 9x13 pan and bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees.

Remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the mixture. Spread on the caramel mixture then spread on the remaining dough on top.

Bake 15 minutes and let cool before cutting.

This is very rich so don't eat too many in one sitting. This is one of our favorites treats at work.
