Grandma's Macaroni and cheese Recipe

Ingredients: 1 box of Macaroni 3 - 9 oz packages of Cracker Barrel Cheese ( 2 Sharp and 1 extra Sharp 4 Eggs 1 ⅓ cup of evaporated milk ½ a stick of Butter Salt and Pepper to taste.

Directions:Beat eggs, evaporated milk, and salt together in a bowl. Cut up cheese into small squares. Cut up butter into small slices. Boil pasta aldente ( do not overcook pasta. It is always better to under cook so that it finishes cooking in the oven.
Drain past but do not rinse with water. Place pasta back into the pot that you boiled it in. Add the cheese and butter to the pasta and gently mix.
Place the pasta and cheese mix in an oven safe dish. Pour the beaten egg and evaporated milk mixture evenly over the macaroni and cheese.
Cover with aluminium foil and cook at 350º for 30 minutes. Uncover and let cook for 15 minutes. |

Notes: My grandma BeBe made this recipe for me every time I visited. Throughout the years I have tried to alter it to make it my own but I always go back to her recipe because it is the only recipe that tastes just right. Every time I make it I feel closer to her and every time I eat it I remember what a great cook she was.
