1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
Candy corn, chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.

In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually stir flour mixture and blend well.

Form 1 ½ inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Punch 2 "ears" at top of cookie. Press a fork into dough to form whiskers on either side of nose

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately add candy corn eyes and chocolate chip nose. Makes about 3 dozen
