1 C butter
Pinch of salt
½ C molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
4 C flour
¼ C strong black coffee
1 ½ C brown sugar
1 ½ tsp. ginger
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream 1 C butter, add molases and beat.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.

3. Roll batter into 2 "snakes" and wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate.

4. Grease cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Slice and place rounds on sheet.

5. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
