5 1/4 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt- usually uses less
2-4 tbsp sugar- usually 3
1 1/2 tbsp yeast

1 1/2 tbsp oil
2 cups warm water

Directions:
Directions:
mix all dry ingredients together. add oil and water to dry ingredients then beat for 1 minute, check to see if sticky if it's not sticky add little more water, NO more flour. If sticky put mixer on for 5 minutes. Place dough on greased surface and knead for 2 or 3 turns until smooth. shape into desired shapes and place on grease cookie sheet or pan, let rise for 20 minutes with a towel covering . Cut slits in top about 1/4 " deep and place in 350* oven for 25 minutes.

We added things like cinnamon, onion flakes, garlic, herbs and they were delicious.
