1 cup sugar
1 1/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 lb of chopped chocolate wafers
nuts of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together 1 cup sugar, 1 1/3 cup butter, and 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar, and 2 tsp vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add 2 eggs. In another bowl sift together 2 1/2 cups all ppurpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp salt. Gradually add this flour mixture to bowl. Once completely mixed, hand stir 1 lb of chopped chocolate wafers and chips and some nuts. Spoon dough into clumps and bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes

Try using the colored chocolate chips.
