16 oz. ziti pasta
1 pound sweet Italian sausage
1 pound ground beef
15 oz. ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 large onion, minced
2 tsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
45 oz. spaghetti sauce, divided
8 oz. shredded Italian cheese blend
4 oz. shredded Italian cheese blend
1 tsp. dried basil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º and grease a large baking dish.

Cook pasta and drain. Brown sausage and ground beef; drain and set aside.

In a separate large bowl, combine ricotta, egg, onion, garlic and oregano. Fold in the meat mixture, salt, pepper and half of the spaghetti sauce. Mix together.

In the casserole dish, add in alternating layers; sauce, pasta mixture and cheese. Sprinkle with basil and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for 20 minutes and then uncover. Then bake for another 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
