CHOCOLATE ICING

1 3/4 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
4 Tbs. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease and flour a 9"x13" pan. Sift together sugar, flour, soda and cinnamon. In a sauce pan mix water, oil, butter and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients and mix well; set aside for 5 minutes. Mix eggs, buttermilk and vanilla in a small bowl; add to chocolate mixture. Pour into pan. Bake for 20 minutes. About 3 minutes before you take the cake out start the Chocolate Icing below.
 

CHOCOLATE ICING
Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbs. cocoa
1/2 -1 c. pecans
6 Tbs. milk
16 oz. powder sugar

Put butter, coca and milk in a heavy sauce pan. Bring to slow boil. Be careful not to scorch. Add powder sugar, vanilla and pecans. Spread over hot cake
