8 slices 1/2" thick stale French bread
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 cups Colby or Monterey jack cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Butter 8x8 square pan. Line bottom of pan with half of the bread. Cover with half of cheese; repeat layers. In a bowl, whisk milk, mustard, salt and pepper sauce. Add eggs; whisk to blend. Pour milk mixture over bread layers. Saturate bread completely. You can refrigerate now over night or Bake 50-60 minutes until set, puffed and browned. Cut into squares. serve immediately.
