1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbs. baking powder
1 1/2 cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 cup chunky applesauce
2/3 c. milk
2 Tbs. oil
1 1/2 c. Bran flakes
Powder sugar with cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Blend flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Beat egg in a small bowl; stir in applesauce, sugar, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Don't stir too much, batter will be lumpy. Blend in cereal. Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Sift together powder sugar and cinnamon and sift over bread before serving.
