• 6 -8 pork chops
• 1 onion, sliced (optional)
• 2 (10 1/4 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
• 2 (6 ounce) cans mushroom pieces, drained (optional)
• ½ cup of whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown your pork chops in a skillet.
2. Peel and slice the onion thinly.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F.
4. Place browned pork chops in a baking dish, layer with the sliced onions.
5. Top with mushrooms.
6. Mix cream of mushroom soup with the milk.
7. Pour over the top of the pork chops and onions.
8. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.

Pork is so lean these days that I usually brine the chops for about 1 -2 hours in a basic brine (1 qt. water, 1/4 c. kosher salt [2 tbs. table salt]1 tbs. sugar). Drain, dry with paper towels before browning.
