Ingredients:  
Peel and cut in small pieces 4 or 5 large potatoes or use leftover mashed potatoes and add smaller number off uncooked potatoes.
1/2 of large onion diced
3 or 4 strips of diced thick cut bacon
1or 2 T.butter
Milk and cream
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes and onion in water to barely cover until soft.
Mash coarsely
Add cooked bacon with cooking fat, butter milk and some cream to desired consistency. If stronger potato
flavor is desired add potato flakes and adjust thickness with more milk and or cream. Taste and adjust salt and pepper seasoning
Serve with diced onion ;on top
