1½ lbs. ground chuck
1 flat can ripe olives pitted and chopped
12 oz.. sharp cheddar cheese
1 can tomato soup
2 diced onions
garlic, salt and oregano to taste
1 loaf of French or Vienna bread (could also use rolls) cut in half lengthwise.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and drain well.
Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Cover, let set in the refrigerator overnight. (Good to make even 2-3 days ahead),
Spread meat mixture on French or Vienna bread or rolls.
Place under hot broiler until cheese bubbles.

You can add extra cheese, pepperoni, etc. before placing under the broiler.
You can substitute sausage for all or part of the ground chuck.
