Ingredients:  
8" Pie Filling:
4 - 5 cups peeled apples (sliced)
2 - 3 tbsp water (depending on how juicy apples are)
2 - 3 tbsp sugar (depending on how sweet apples are)

8" Pie Crust:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
2/3 cup + 2 tbsp Crisco veg shortening or butter

Directions:
Directions:
8" Pie Filling:
Cook till soft but not apple sauce.

8" Pie Crust:
Add baking powder to top & bottom and put pats of butter on top and bottom.
Glaze top with milk.
Bake at 425 F for 10 minutes
Then 325 F for 35 - 40 minutes.
