6-8 slices of Bacon of your choice
1 tsp. Salt
1 lg. head of Cabbage- chopped
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 lg. Onion- chopped
1/3 C. Cooking Oil or Bacon Grease
1 Bell Pepper- chopped
1 tbsp. Ground Black Pepper

Pour oil/bacon grease in a large pot of skillet. Heat grease for 3-5 minutes. Add bacon and cook over medium heat until crispy. Add onions, bell pepper, jalapeno. Cook and stir for about 5-10 minutes. Add and stir in cabbage and continue to cook about 20 minutes. Cover with lid; stirring occasionally.

Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally about 20 minutes.
