2 cups flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup shortening
2/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º

Combine flour, baking powder and salt, cut in shortening with pastry blender.
Add milk and mix quickly. Knead at least 10 times, folding over on floured board.
Pat out to 1/2 in. thickness and cut into biscuits.

Bake until light brown- abt. 10-15 minutes.
