"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil

1/4 c. liquer

Directions:
Directions:
Mix top ingredients together. Pour into a greased and floured (I use bakers joy) bundt pan. Bake at 325º for 65 minutes. While baking mix the other ingredients in a sauce pan to a slow boil and then simmer.

Take hot cake out of the oven and pour sauce over the cake and allow it to soak in. Let cake sit for 10 minutes before turning it over onto a cake pan.

Rum cake with yellow cake mix and vanilla pudding, she puts chopped pecans on the bottom of the bundt pan before pouring in the batter

Chocolate Decadent cake: chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding, add white chocolate chips in batter and use chocolate liquer or creme de cocoa.

Almond Joy Cake: Chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding or coconut creme pudding. Use coconut rum. May mix coconut in the batter or sprinkle toasted coconut on top (I usually cover with chocolate ganache and then toasted coconut on top).

Orange Supreme Cake: Use orange cake mix, vanilla pudding and triple sec liquer
