1 lemon
4 tbsp. butter
6 large ripe bananas
3/4 c brown sugar
1/3 c dark rum

Directions:
Directions:
Use oven dish platter. Butter bottom of dish using half of the sugar. Peel bananas and split them in half. Arrange them flat side down on buttered pan platter. Peel lemon with vegetable peeler. Stack peels into a pile and sliver them into very thin strips. Squeeze the juice from lemon over all. Add remaining sugar and butter and put into 450ºF oven for 10 min. When ready to serve remove from oven and pour rum over it. Light a match to it. Using pot holders bring flaming banana platter to dining room. Tip platter so juice runs to one side corner. Spoon flaming juice back on top of bananas. Keep basting until flame dies.
