16 oz Ground Italian Sausage (or ground beef)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/4 cups baking mix (1 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 TBS shortening)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped mushroom
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook and crumble meat over medium heat until lightly browned; drain. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheese, baking mix, onion, mushrooms, and milk; mix well.
2. Shape mixture into 36 walnut-size balls and place on a greased, shallow baking dish.
3. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
