1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Shortening (Crisco)
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Cup Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and shortening. Cream together with a mixer, Add eggs and vanilla. Cream together with a mixer. In a separate bowl, combine salt, baking powder, baking soda, flour, and cinnamon. Stir together until mixed well. Combine both bowls, and cream together with a mixer. Add the oatmeal and mix together. Form balls and roll in white sugar. (Leave cookies in ball after rolling in sugar. Don't press down on cookies.) Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until lightly brown.
