1 3 to 5 pound, rump, round, or ball tip roast
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 10 ½ ounce cans beefy mushroom soup
½ soup can of water
Dash oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced or whole

Brown the roast in the oil. Place in crock pot. Add remaining ingredients, and cook on high for 6 hours. Turn on low until gravy thickens. Add mushrooms, onion, carrots, potatoes and other veggies.
