4 or 5 medium apples
1/2 C brown sugar
2 T butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 C white sugar
1 C sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 C milk
2 T melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples into 8x8x2 cake pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar, dot with butter then sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Combine sugar, flour, salt, bp, milk and melted butter into batter. Pour over apple mixture. Bake at 359º oven about 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream.
