3 c. Flour - Sifted
2 Tbsp Sugar
4 Eggs
4 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 stick butter (or margarine)
1 Tsp Vanilla
Oil for deep frying


Honey Syrup

3/4 cup Honey
1/3 cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
1/3 cup Water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and add baking powder to flour, set aside. Combine sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla, once creamed, add to dry ingredients.
Make the dough into 1/2 inch balls and deep fry, ensuring the oil is to temp (approx. 375º) cook until lightly golden brown. Remove balls from oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Let the honey balls cool and place in a bowl. Pour syrup mixture over balls to coat evenly, arrange on a plate in a big mound and sprinkle nonpareils on top.

For Syrup:

Combine honey ,sugar, water, lemon juice in a saucepan and bring to boil, stirring
constantly until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking, uncovered without stirring for about 15 min or until thick.
