Ingredients:  
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tb melted butter
1 can corn (drained well)
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a medium pot half way with oil.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

Beat egg, milk and butter. Add to dry mixture. Stir in corn.

Drop batter by rounded spoonfulls into oil.

Fry until golden. Drain on paper towels.

Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
