1 onion
2 celery stalks
bacon
olive oil
4 cups of corn
1 lb potatoes
4 cups chicken stalk
1 c half & half
1 Tsp salt and 1 Tsp pepper
1 Tbs flour
1 Tsp paprika
1 Tsp Thyme (I do not use this)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook Bacon. Lots of bacon. I use almost a full package and I add some of the grease drippings to the chowder.
Cook celery and onion. Add corn, potatoes, stalk, salt, pepper and paprika (and thyme if using) and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups of the chowder and the flour to a blender and blend. Put back in soup pan. Add the half and half and cook an additional 10 minutes.
