Directions:
Wash and drain vegetables, scald core and peel ripe tomatoes. Core but do not peel green tomatoes. Cut blossoms and stem ends from peppers, discard seeds. Peel onions, chop vegetables and squeeze to remove juice, saves cooking time. Mix all ingredients and cook until liquid part is about as thick as chili sauce. Taste and add more seasoning if desired. Pour boiling hot relish into hot jar and seal at once.

This is the only relish I could find with cucumbers

My Mom's recipe
(Linda Ann Routen)

I have very fond memories of retrieving homemade canned vegetables from our family cellar. One day while trying to retrieve some of our precious canned goods from the cellar my brother got trapped by a snake laying on the steps of the cellar. My mom tried her best to shot the snake but was only successful in scaring the snake and my brother half to death. This story has brought us many years of laughter.
