1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion chopped
3 tbsp. bacon fat
1 large can Bush Original baked beans
1 large can kidney beans drained
1 large can lima beans, drained
1/2 cup Heinz catsup
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard powder
1 tsp. salt
pepper
1 lb. bacon, cut into small pieces

Fry out bacon, measure out fat and add bacon to above ingredients, mix well. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.

Over the years I have modified this recipe may times depending on the size of the crowd to feed.. Since the kids didn't like kidney beans I used great northern beans, pinto beans and baby butter beans. Also I use more garlic and dry mustard powder as well as Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce.
