Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/4-1/2 cup sugar
2 cups half and half (or milk)
½ tsp vanilla
Nutmeg (optional)

Mix eggs and sugar in blender. Add cream and vanilla and blend. Serve in tall glass sprinkled with nutmeg.

Cathi's note: I came up with this during the years that Dad was pastoring and some of the church members were too poor to give, so they "tithed" in eggs. We had so many eggs that we had to come up with all kinds of creative ways to use them up!

This was also in the days before everyone was so scared about eating anything with raw egg. If that bothers you, you'll have to make do with store-bought egg nog! (But then, you're probably the kind that won't eat cookie dough, either, huh?)
