Ingredients: 4.4 lbs Paquete de MASECA para TAMALES / Package of MASECA for TAMALES 1 Cajita de manteca 1lb / 1lb pkg of Lard 2 Cucharas cafeteras de Royal/ 2 Tablespoons of Baking Powder Caldo de la carne cosida *lo necesario / Broth from the cooked pork * as needed Sal al gusto/ Salt to taste
***** Los mismos ingredientes para LA MASA PARA TAMALES DE CHILE EN RAJAS EXCEPTO AGREGA 3 cucharadas de consome de pollo a agua hervida para el caldo QUESO Y CHILE por supuesto jaja
***** Use the same ingredients if you want to make TAMALES POBLANO PEPPERS AND CHEESE (SHREDDED OR CUT IN STRIPS) EXCEPT ADD 3 tablespoons of chicken bullion powder to boiled water. Cheese and roasted poblano peppers cut in strips FOR THE FILLING of course hahaha

Directions:Se mezcla todos los ingredientes y se va batiendo bien agregando caldo de la carne poco a poco hasta que no quede ni aguada ni seca. Se prueba la masa para sal y lista !!
Mix all ingredients and add broth little by little mixing the dough until its neither watery nor dry. Taste for salt and Masa is ready !!
For 1/2 Package just reduce ingredients to half Para la mitad de bolsa reduce los ingredientes a la mitad |
