1 large head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 (10 oz.) package frozen English peas, cooked, drained, and cooled
1/2 c. mayonnaise and 1/2 c. sour cream, combined
2 Tbs. sugar
6 oz.grated cheese
8 strips bacon, cooked crisply and crumbled

Use a large bowl and place ingredients in layers in the order given. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
