salmon steak or filet
1 cup shoyu
2 tbsp. grated ginger
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tsp. sesame seeds
2 tbsp. chopped green onion
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar

Optional - any combination of fresh herbs (cilantro, oregano, basil, rosemary and/or toasted sesame seed).

Rinse fish, make sure all scales (and bones if using filets) are removed.

Mix remaining ingredients together for the marinade. Coat fish with marinade and refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes. Grill/barbeque 4-5 minutes each side. Do not overcook. Garnish with chopped green onion and/or optional fresh herbs.
