Bowl 1
4 cups sugar
1/2 tsp baking sofa
1 tsp baking powder

Bowl 2
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in 2 separate bowls, then mix together. Refrigerate dough 30 minutes. Roll out dough. Cut with cookie cutters if desired. Bake at 175 for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle sugar on top.

These are sugar cookies that my grandma Ruth used to make. She would make them often for holidays and the grandchildren would get to decorate them. Great memories!
