1 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp paprika
2 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cayenne pepper
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard

Sift all ingredients together, use a food processor to get a fine powder (optional)

Put a liberal amount of the dry rub on the meat

Let meat sit at least a couple of hours in order to let the spices work into it. Overnigh is better.

Prepare your pork as you wish. I like to cook pork butts and ribs low and slow so they fall appart. A crockpot works good. Finish the ribs on the grill or under the broiler with BBQ sauce
