2 C FRERSH RIPE PEACHES PEELED AND SLICED (or more)
¼ C SUGAR
SQUEEZE OF FRESH LEMON JUICE
1 STICK BUTTER, MELTED
1 C SUGAR
½ C MILK
1 C FLOUR, SIFTED
1 ½ t BAKING POWDER
PINCH OF SALT

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
mix peaches with ¼ c sugar, and squeeze of lemon juice. Let stand for 30 min.

In a serarate bowl, mix 1 C sugar, milk, flour, baking powder and salt to make a batter. Pour melt butter into an 8X8 baking dish. Pour batter over the butter. Now pour the peaches on top.

Bake 30-45 min.

the batter rises, and it really is this easy!!!

I learned this trick very recently. it really does work. I've never done other fruit, but I can't help but think that it would work just as well.
