1 lb butter
4 C flour
1 lb brown sugar
1 lb pecans, chopped
6 eggs, separated and beaten
½ C milk
1 ½ oz bottled lemon extract
1 t baking powder
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add the beaten egg yolks. Add the dry ingredients, alternating with the liquids. Fold in the nuts. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.

Line a tube pan with brown paper and grease. Pour in the batter. Bake at 300° for 1hour and 40 min.
