1 cup pitted prunes
cup water
1-19 oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
cup cocoa
cup sugar
tsp. Baking powder
2 eggs
Optional topping: about 1 cup in total: choc. Chips, raisins, cranraisins, almonds etc.

Directions:
Directions:
In a glass bowl, place the prunes and water. Microwave for 2 minutes until the prunes are soft.
Meanwhile, place the chickpeas in a food processor and chop till fine. There will still be a few lumps.
Add the cocoa and sugar. Chop until mixture is fine.

Pour in the prune mixture. Pulse till blended.

Add the baking powder and eggs. Mix until blended.
Spoon into a prepared 8 inch square pan that has been lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Optional: Sprinkle topping evenly over the surface.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick placed in the center of the Brownie comes out clean.
