Fresh baked white bread
Soft butter
Homemade raspberry jam
Wax paper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Slice 2 pieces of cooled white bread.

2. Spread butter on one side of each piece of bread.

3. Spread raspberry jam on buttered side of bread.

4. Press the topping sides of bread together.

5. Cut sandwich in half diagonally.

6. Wrap sandwich in wax paper.

7. 30 minutes later, unwrap sandwich and take a bite.

8. Rewrap sandwich and give to intended recipient.

Grandma made the best jam sandwiches! I couldn't resist them. When she would make these sandwiches for Don's school lunch, I needed to have a bite. The combination of the protective, wax paper with fresh bread and raspberries was heaven. I'd unwrap the refrigerated sandwich, take a bite, quickly rewrap sandwich and run to my bedroom to savour the sandwich corner in my mouth. Yum!
