2 c sugar
1/2 c instant coffee
2 c water
1 vanilla bean
1 qt vodka
Directions:
Directions:
Boil first 4 ingredients until sugar is dissolved and vanilla bean is well softened, stirring often to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and cool.
Add vodka.
Pour into bottles, add 1/2 vanilla bean and cap.
Invert once a day or so.
Let the flavors meld for about 30 days before sampling.
