2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup lard
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp soda
1 1/2 cups fine coconut
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup peanuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars, margarine and shortening, add beaten eggs and dry ingredients. Roll in balls, flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350º on greased cookie sheet 10 - 15 minutes
