2 Eggs
1 C Sugar
2 Tbsp Soft Butter
3/4 C Milk
3 1/2 C Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Oil for frying 1/2 " in skillet

GLAZE:

1/3 C Boiling Water
1 C. Powered Sugar

Beat eggs well. Beat in sugar and butter. Stir in milk. Sift together and stir in flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, & cinnamon. Turn onto lightly floured board, Knead 5-6 times. Roll out about 1/3 inch thick & let rest 20 minutes. Cut with cookie cutter & fry in small amount of hot fat (oil). Turn to other side when brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with sugar or glaze.

To make the glaze, gradually add the powdered sugar to the water and mix well. Dip warm donuts into the warm glaze.
