40 salted saltine crackers
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line cookie sheet (that has an edge of 1/2 or more) with foil or parchment paper. Line crackers in a single layer.

In small pot, combine sugar and butter and bring to boil. Continue boiling 3 minutes. Mixture should be deep caramel color. Immediately pour over saltines and spread evenly.

Bake at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes. It will get bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top and let it sit for a few minutes to melt. If not hot enough, pop back in oven to melt. *You can melt chips in the microwave for 1 minute and then spread on. Spread melted chocolate on top with nuts if desired. Cool completely and break into pieces.
