4 medium spanish onions
1/4 cup butter
6 cups beef broth

French bread
Grated parmesan and Asiago cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut peeled onions and cut into thin slices. Saute in butter until a rich brown color. Add beef broth to onions and simmer. Ladle into oven proof soup bowls. Top with sliced, toasted french bread. Cover with lots of grated cheese. Bake at 450ºF oven or broil to melt and brown cheese.
