Ingredients:  
2 lb. pkg. of diced hash browns (you can use the shredded if you prefer)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick butter, melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup finely diced onion
1/2 tsp. salt or seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Topping:
1/2 stick of butter, melted
2 cups crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the casserole ingredients util well blended. Pour and spread evenly into a 2-1/2 qt. casserole dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the other 1/2 stick of butter and the corn flake crumbs and sprinkle over the top.

Bake at 350 for about one hour.
