1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 cups sliced peaches (6 medium)
1 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsp butter
1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Mix sugar with cornstarch and cinnamon in saucepan. Stir in peeled and sliced peaches and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Pour into 8 x 8 inch baking dish, and put in oven to keep hot.

Cut butter into flour, 1 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt until mixture resembles crumbs. Stir in milk. Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto hot peach mixture.
Bake until topping is golden, 25 to 30 minutes.
